Professor Diana Laurillard from the Institute of Education takes the HandsOn team through the concept of Learning Design
Although it is not so long since the HandsOn Partners met in London at the recent BETT show in January, many of the partners returned last week to discuss the dissemination of, and develop strategies to ensure the sustainability of the project. The meetings also planned the implementation of the next phase of the pilot MOOC, in time to ensure a May Launch. This new 5 week Mooc will offer teachers in Secondary schools, Vocational and Technical education – (VET), and Higher Education the opportunity to create Learning Designs through the creative use of ICT. We shall be posting more information on the course content, and how to join the MOOC very shortly. Keep an eye on the blog.
Finally, we would like to offer our thanks to the Institute of Education and the London Knowledge Lab for the excellent facilities and support for these events, and also to Brother for providing their OmniJoin videoconferencing system
